Before crossing the Øresund Bridge
Is there anything I need to keep in mind before crossing the Øresund Bridge? We have listed the most important things to remember before you start your journey.
Low emissions Zones in Denmark - stricter rules from October 1, 2023
Denmark is implementing new, stricter rules for diesel-powered vehicles in emission zones. The new regulations will take effect from October 1st, 2023, and apply to Denmark's five largest cities. Charge your electric car with us
We have made it really easy for you to charge your electric car when crossing the Øresund bridge. In collaboration with the Nordic electric company E.ON we can offer you a quick charge for only 3,99 SEK/kwh where you can pay with either credit card or the E.ON app.
The charger is located by the rest area Skånegården, about 1,5 kilometer into the Swedish side from the toll booth when entering Sweden. If you wish to charge your car in Denmark, you will find the charger right after the toll booth. Use one of the right-hand lanes to easily access the charger.

In 2025 the Øresund bridge is celebrating 25 years with a unique half marathon between Sweden and Denmark for 40.000 runners! This is one of very few chances to run the distance over water.
The starting shot will be fired on Sunday June 15th in 2025 at 09.00 am.
