When do I need a bizz?
A bizz is a physical transmitter placed in the windshield of your vehicle. When you arrive at the Øresund bridge's toll station, the system scans the bizz, opens the boom barrier to let you pass. With the help of the bizz, our toll station finds your contracts, calculates your price, and knows how to charge you. The bizz itself is free og charge and no extra fees apply.
Today you don't always need a bizz thanks to new technology that scans the same information from your license plate number. Øresundsbron is equipped with license plate scanning and the only difference from a bizz is that the toll station scans your license plate instead.
If you're only driving over the Øresund bridge you don't need a bizz, but there are other locations where a bizz is necessary.

Examples:
License plate scanning doesn't work in Norway.
Ferry crossing Helsingborg to Elsinore.
Ferry crossing Rødby to Puttgarten or Gedser to Rostock.
You also need a bizz to make the following trips over the Øresund bridge without stopping to pay:
You have an ØresundCOMMUTER contract with license plate scanning and want trips from the weekend or your spare time to be charged to a different contract. Order a bizz for your secondary contract, and only keep it in your car for your non-work-related trips. Keep in mind that when you have a bizz in your car it's scanned before your license plate.
You have a company-issued bizz and want to connect your license plate number to a private contract. Again, remember that your bizz is scanned before the license plate.
