When do I need a bizz?

In most cases, you do not need a bizz (OBU).

If you only travel across Øresundsbron, it is sufficient to register your vehicle and travel using license plate recognition. Your contract is then automatically identified at the crossing, and you receive the same price and conditions as with a bizz.

You only need a bizz if you drive in one of the areas below or have a specific need to use multiple contracts.

You need a bizz if you travel:

• In Norway

• With the Helsingborg-Helsingør ferry

• With ferries in Denmark

• In Austria if you drive a motorhome over 3.5 tons

You may also need a bizz if you want to use multiple contracts on Øresundsbron:

• You have a commuter contract linked to the license plate but want to use a different discount contract for private trips. You can then order a bizz for that contract and only keep it in the car when you want to use it.

• You have a company bizz but want to link the license plate to a private contract. Keep in mind that the bizz is always read before the license plate.

What is a bizz?

A bizz is a physical device placed in the windshield and used to identify your contract at the crossing. The bizz costs DKK 220 as a one-time fee.
