Øresund Talks 2023 was held on January 27, 2023, in Børssalen in Copenhagen. The conference focused on the theme: "The Bridge to the Nordic Region’s Largest Labor Market." Businesses and politicians from the Øresund Region participated and contributed to the debate on how best to utilize the potential of the shared labor market across the Øresund.

About Øresund Talks 2023

How can the Øresund Region’s shared labor market move from ideas and good intentions to action and reality? This overarching theme guided the conference. Together with regional businesses and politicians from both sides of the strait, we highlighted the future of the Øresund Region's shared labor market and discussed how both the business community and society can maximize the potential of the cross-border labor market.

We explored politicians' perspectives — what they see and what actions they intend to take. We also listened to the experiences, opportunities, and challenges of businesses— both Danish and Swedish —and examined what needs to be done to succeed.

Participants were given the opportunity to join the debate on what is required to create a more cohesive region and a shared labor market across the Øresund.
