Medal - The Bridge Run 2025

When over 40,000 runners crossed the finish line of The Bridge Run, this medal was hung around their necks. It was indeed the only race across the Øresund Bridge for many years, and the 80-gram medal meant a lot to many. A symbol of the achievement of completing a unique half marathon between two countries and over the bridge.

The Bridge Run 2025 was part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Øresund Bridge as a link between Sweden and Denmark. Just like the bridge, the medal was designed to last - both in hand and in memory. The gilded bridge was the centerpiece as a tribute to the race’s unique route.

The colorful ribbon told a story about the bridge and the connection between the two countries:

• Red represented the start in Denmark

• Blue and purple reflected the sky, the sea, and the bridge itself

• Yellow marked the finish in Sweden
