With over 20 years of a fixed link in the Øresund region and the upcoming Fehmarn Belt link in 2029, questions arise: What is the current capacity of the bridge and what will it be in the future? And what investments are necessary to accommodate the traffic from the Fehmarn Belt? The Øresundsbro Consortium has therefore commissioned an external capacity study from Afry.

The purpose of the study is to provide an overview of current bottlenecks and the future capacity, thus giving the Øresundsbro Consortium a basis for future strategic planning, both internally and in collaboration with other stakeholders.
